So Sullivan say we MIGHT need one depending on Henry and I would think when they sit down and have a look at it for next season Oxford will be in the mix as well.

IF we can get him, has Jenkinson done enough to warrant us splashing out on him? When I have seen him he looks good, but I don't get to every game and have seen him slatted on here on occasions........but then again that is probably no real comment on his actual playing is it?

Very good point imo. Delighted that transfer control was taken away from Allardyce - but what ultimately happens if it just becomes another cult of personality around a man with less true football experience? Presumably one surrounded by yes men all under his employ - where are the checks and balances in that system?
